Design Fee Proposal — Randolph County Animal Shelter
We appreciate the opportunity to assist Randolph County in providing architectural services
and consulting for the scope of work listed below.
The proposed scope of work includes the following:
1. Full Design, Bidding, and Construction Administration Services as outlined in the
Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect (AIA Document 8101-2007)
Dated March 191h, 2015.
2. Terms and Conditions of the Contract dated March 19`h, 2015 and stated above shall be
applied and governed this proposal fee and the proposed scope of work.
3. Basic services included within this proposal shall be as stated in the contract referenced
above.
4. Additional services above and beyond the Basic services shall be defined by the stated
contract referenced above.
5. The Design Proposal Fee shall be added and included within the stated contract as an
attachment.
6. The design proposal fee shall include the following engineering: Structural, Civil,
Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical. If additional engineers are required, the additional
fee for those services shall be added to the contract as an Additional Service.
7. Subsurface Survey, Topographic Survey, Building Survey, Hazardous Materials Survey and
Testing, and Construction Testing Services shall be the responsibility of the Owner and
not included within this fee proposal.
8. Design scope and scope of project shall be as defined and presented as a result of the
Conceptual Design and Feasibility Study that we are currently finishing. That scope and
size of the building addition and the proposed renovations to the existing building have
been conceptually designed and shown for approval to the Owner as part of the
feasibility study. The proposed fee listed has been based on the conceptual design and
feasibility study.

PROPOSED DELIVERY SCHEDULE
- We propose the following initial schedule. Should the Owner prefer a different
schedule, we will make every effort possible to meet the Owner's preferred
