Special Joint Meeting with Randolph Community College
The Randolph County Board of Commissioners met in a special joint session with
Randolph Community College in Meeting Room A, 725 McDowell Road, Asheboro. Chairman
Darrell Frye, Vice-Chairman David Allen, Commissioners Kenny Kidd, Maxton McDowell, and
Hope Haywood were present. Also present were Interim County Manager/Finance Officer Will
Massie, Assistant County Manager/Operations William Johnson, County Attorney Ben Morgan,
Clerk to the Board Dana Crisco, and Deputy Clerk to the Board Jenny Parks. This special
meeting is being live streamed on YouTube.
At 6:50 p.m., Chairman Frye called the meeting to order.
Several members of the Randolph Community College (RCC) Board of Trustees, along with
Dr. Shah Ardalan, RCC President, gave a PowerPoint presentation on technology upgrades,
college-wide repairs, renovations, and expansions, along with costs and funding requests for these
items.
Dr. Shah and Reynolds Lisk, Chair of RCC Board of Trustees, thanked the Board for allowing
RCC to present its capital request to them.
Adjournment
At 7:40 p.m., on motion of Allen, seconded by Kidd, the Board voted unanimously to adjourn.
