Special Closed Session Î Personnel Ï November 9, 2023
At 5:30 p.m., the Board convened in closed session at 725 McDowell Rd.; Asheboro pursuant
to NCGS 143-318.11(a)(6) to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character,
fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of a prospective public
officer. Chairman Darrell Frye, Vice-Chairman David Allen, Commissioner Hope Haywood,
Commissioner Kenny Kidd, and Commissioner Maxton McDowell were present.
The Board discussed candidates for County Manager.
At 6:30 p.m., the Board left Closed Session and on motion of Allen, seconded by Haywood, the
Board adjourned.
