111880i RANDOLPH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MINUTES November 1.8, 1980 10:00 A.M. The Randolph County Board of Commissioners met in Special session November 18, 1980 at 10:00 A.M. with the following members present: Richard K. Pugh, Kenyon Davidson, Thurman Hogan, and Matilda Phillips. Commissioner Petty was absent. Lee Phoenix, Superintendent, Asheboro City Schools and Lee Stone, Chairman, Asheboro City School Board made a request to re -allocate funds from the Bond Referendum to to repair the roof at North Asheboro Junior High School. Motion was made by Thurman -Hogan, seconded by Matilda Phillips to approve the request of the Asheboro City School Board to re -allocate funds now on hand from the Bond Referendum (1978) to repair the roof at North Asheboro Junior High School. This motion was unanimously approved. Motion was made by Thurman Hogan, seconded by Kenyon Davidson to approve the low bid of Kester Business Systems, Inc. for office equipment for the Ira L. McDowell Governmental Complex. This motion was unanimously approved. The bids were as follows: Kester Business Systems, Inc. - $22,429.77 Elliott Office Equipment - $27,341.00 Asheboro Business Machines — $22,599.99 Dixie Equipment Co. - $25,358.64 The meeting adjourned until December 1, 1980.
