SPECIAL MEETING - March 27, 1980
The Randolph County Board of Commissioners met in Special session
March 27, 1980 at 9:00 A.M. with following members present:
Richard K. Pugh, Chm., Thurman Hogan, Kenyon Davidson and Matilda
Phillips.
Commissioner Petty was in Washington, D. C. testifying before a
Congressional sub -committee in support of the Randleman Dam located
in Randolph County.
Sara Ryan, Women's Aid representative, presented a proposal sub-
mitted to the Department of Labor for a Displaced Homemaker program.
Motion was made by Matilda Phillips, seconded by Kenyon Davidson
to go into executive session to discuss the Fire Marshall appli-
cants. This motion was unanimously approved.
Robert Hedrick, Architect, presented the plans for the Randolph
County courthouse addition.
Thurman Hogan made the motion, seconded by Matilda Phillips to
approve the Courthouse addition plans. This motion was unanimously
approved. April 29, 1980, 2:00 P.M. was set as the time for the
letting of bids.
Motion was made by Thurman Hogan, seconded by Kenyon Davidson to
approve the specifications for furniture for this addition.
This motion was unanimously approved.
Motion was made by Thurman Hogan, seconded by Matilda Phillips to
approve the following budget adjustment for Mental Health and
this was unanimously approved: (included by reference).
The meeting adjourned at 11:45 A.M.
