RANDOLPH COUNTY PLANNING BOARD
MINUTES
March 23, 1983
There was a meeting of. the Randolph County Planning Board on Wednesday,
March 23, 1983 at 1:30 p.m. in the Public Conference Room located in the
Department of Public Health Building, McDowell Governmental Center, Asheboro,
North Carolina. The following members were present :
Don Hancock, Chairman ABSENT
Doyle Stout, Vice-Chairman
Andrew Lueker Ray Farlow
Terry Coble
Joyce Davis
Tal Harrison
1. Doyle Stout made the motion, seconded by Joyce Davis, to approve the minutes
of the February 9, 1983 Planning Board Meeting. This motion was approved.
2. Hal Johnson advised the Board that the Conditional Use Re-Zoning request of
Robert Corn on Meadowbrook Road, Trinity Township, had been withdrawn. (The
re-zoning request had been scheduled for review by the Planning Board)
3. SUBDIVISION APPROVAL
A. After review and discussion, Andrew Lueker made the motion, seconded by
Joyce Davis that the Final Subdivision Plat of Section 1, Mel-Bil Heights
Subdivision, (State Road #1922) , New Market Township, 28 lots, and owned
by William H. Beard, be conditionally approved as a Final Plat dependent
upon the State Highway Department's approval of the paved road installation
as meeting State requirements as public roads. The final plat will be stamped
for recording only after receiving approval from the State on the public roads.
This motion was approved by the Board.
4. Being no further business the Board adjourned.
