RANDOLPH COUNTY PLANNING BOARD
November 28, 1984
There was a meeting of the County Planning Board on Wednesday, November 28, 1984
at 1:30 p.m. in the Courtroom B, County Courthouse, 145 Worth Street, Asheboro, North
Carolina. The following members were present:
Don Hancock, Chairman ABSENT
Ray Farlow
Charles Adams Doyle Stout
Terry Coble Bud Osborne
Tal Harrison
1. Ray Farlow made the motion, seconded by Terry Coble, to approve the minutes of
the October 31 meeting. This motion was approved by the Board.
2. RE-ZONING REQUEST
•
A. Vernon Doyle, High Point, North Carolina, is requesting that approximately
4 acres located on the corner of Trinity Road (SR #1558) and Prospect Street
Ext. (SR #1619) Zoning Map 1-1; Trinity Township; be re-zoned from RA to
Light Industrial.
Mr. Doyle attended the meeting and expressed his desire to develop a small
manufacturing business on the property.
No persons attended the meeting to express opposition.
After review and discussion, Terry Coble made the motion, seconded by
'Sam/ Charles Adams, to recommend approval of the request. This motion passed
unanimously.
3. Being no further business the Board adjourned.
