RANDOLPH COUNTY PLANNING BOARD
February 6, 1985
There was a meeting of the County Planning Board on Wednesday, February 6, 1985
at 1: 30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Public Library, Worth Street, Asheboro,
North Carolina. The following members were present:
Don Hancock ABSENT
Doyle Stout .
Bud Osborne Tal Harrison
Ray Farlow Charles Adams
Terry Coble
1. Terry Coble made the motion, seconded by Ray Farlow, to approve the minutes of
the November 28, 1984 meeting. This motion was approved.
2. Ray Farlow made the motion, seconded by Bud Osborne, to approve the Final Plat
of Section 8, Kynwood Village Subdivision, Don Smith, Surveyor, Bob Clodfelter,
Developer. Mr. Clodfelter posted a letter of intent, along with financial method
and cost to pave streets to North Carolina State standards. Final paving will
begin in April as the weather warms.
3. The Planning Board was given an informational slide program by Mr. Calvin Evans.
Mr. Evans is the Co-ordinator for the North Central Piedmont Resource Conservation
and Development Council. This council is a division of the U. S. Department of
Agriculture Soil Conservation Service. Mr. Evans presented a slide presentation
on some of the Resource Conservation and Development projects that have been under-
taken in a 7 county area. Mr. Arlie Culp, District Conservationist, also attended
the meeting.
4. Being no further business, the Board meeting adjourned.
