yr RANDOLPH COUNTY ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
March 2, 1993
1 . Chairman Phil Brower called to Order the Randolph
County Zoning Board of Adjustment.
2 . Members present (roll was called during the Planning
Board meeting prior to this meeting) : Phil Brower,
Chairman; Aweilda Williams, Vice Chairman; Jim Routh;
Lynden Craven; Charles Adams; Bill Dorsett; and Doyle
Stout.
3. Hal Johnson, Planning Director, reviewed the following
request for a Variance from county zoning regulations :
RANDY DEZERN, High Point, North Carolina, is requesting
a Variance from the Zoning Ordinance to allow a minimum
of 92 feet width at the building line in lieu of the
required 100 feet. Location: Liberty Run Drive,
Liberty' s Run Subdivision lot 11 , Back Creek Township,
Zoning Map #7724, Zoning District RR.
Mr. Dezern was present and advised the Board that he
build the residence and through a mix up from the
purchasers , realtors , and himself the house was not set
back far enough (on the lot) to meet the required 100
feet width at the building line. Dezern had a
statement (that has been recorded in the Register of
Deeds Office) from the developer allowing him a
Variance from Private Deed Restrictions in Liberty' s
Run Subdivision.
After review and discussion, the Board found that the
appropriate Findings of Fact existed to approve the
Variance.
Bill Dorsett made the motion, seconded by Aweilda
Williams, to approve the Variance. This motion passed
unanimously.
4 . Being no further business , the Board of Adjustment
meeting adjourned.
