SUBJECT: Proposed sub-division in Franklinville Township (Oak Valley)
On August 18th, Frank Boling, County Manager,and I visited the above
property. It is located off highway 22 across from Hancock Ham.
This property was sub-divided approximately 15 years ago by Carlos
King. There are 10 residences occupied along the unpaved road ad-
joining this property. A variance to allow these tracts to be sold
without complying with the road specifications has been requested
by the owner. Based on the fact that this sub-division was developed
�.., prior to our ordinance, the property is and will continue to be served
by the present road, the size of the lots well exceed the minimum
requirement and the topographical nature of the property lends it-
self to this type of lot layout.
I recommend a variance be granted.
