2. SPECIAL USE PERMITS:
(1) Establishment of a new Mobile Home Park: NAME-Cedar Grove Mobile
Home Park; OWNER-Kenneth W. Joyce; LOCATION-on SR# 2614, between
SR# 2611 and SR# 2612; TOWNSHIP-Grant; NUMBER OF LOTS-31.
(2) Establishment of a new Mobile Home Park: NAME-Ashley Park Mobile
Home Park; OWNER-Dwight R. and Nancy S. Meredith; LOCATION-Mountain
Road (SR# 1401) , Zoning Map 1-3; TOWNSHIP-Trinity; NUMBER OF LOTS-13 .
3. RE-ZONING REQUESTS:
(1) Jerry L. and Barbara C. Trotter, Asheboro, North Carolina, is
requesting that approximately 1 acre located on Crestview Road,
approximately 800 feet east of the intersection of Crestview Road
and U.S. 220 Business; Zoning District E-2; Cedar Grove Township;
be re-zoned from Light Industrial-Conditional Use to Light INdustrial.
This would allow the owners to use building for any light industrial
purpose.
(2) Randall J. Barnes, High Point, North Carolina, is requesting that
2 lots located immediately south of the Guil-Rand Fire Dept. at
Hillsville, fronting on Archdale Road (SR# 1004) , Trinity Township;
Zoning Map 2-3; be re-zoned from Residential-Suburban to Highway-
Commercial Conditional Use. It is the desire of the applicant to
locate an automotive body repair shop.

that approximately 2 acres located on the east side of South U.S. 220
between SR# 1121 and SR# 2920; Zoning District E-2; Richland Township;
be re-zoned from 2ND Environmental District to Light Industrial-
Conditional Use. The applicant desires to construct a sewing plant.
(4) Elton McNeill, Route 10, Asheboro, North Carolina, is requesting
that approximately 12 acres located on Luck Road (SR# 2604) , also
known as Spoon Chapel Road; Zoning District E-2; Grant Township; be
re-zoned from 2ND Environmental District to Highway Commercial-
Conditional Use. The applicant desires to use approximately 50 feet
of this 12 acre tract for an automobile sales lot.
(5) Jerry Rodden Auction & Realty, Archdale, North Carolina, is request-
ing that approximately 100 acres of land located on the west side of
of Kingsfield Road (SR# 1595) , Trinity Township; Zoning Map 1-1; be
re-zoned from Residential-Agricultural to Light Industrial. It is the
desire of the applicant to develop an industrial park.
