SUBJECT: June 17 Planning Board Meeting
There will be a meeting of the County Planning Board on Wednesday,
June 17, 1987, at 1:30 p.m. , in Courtroom B, Randolph County Courthouse,
Asheboro, N.C.
The following items are scheduled for the meeting:
1. RE-ZONING REQUESTS:
A. John L. Howell, High Point, North Carolina, is requesting that
approximately 26 acres of land located on north side of W. Mendenhall
RD. (SRI! 1616) near the intersection of SRI! 1616 and SR# 1619
(Prospect St. Ext.) , Trinity Township; Zoning Map 1-1; be re-zoned
from Residential-Agricultural to Light Industrial. It is the desire
of the applicant to develop an industrial park.
B. C. Wayne McDonald, High Point, North Carolina, is requesting that
approximately 70 acres of land located on south side of Turnpike Rd.
(SRI! 1558) near the intersection of SR# 1558 and SR# 1619 (Prospect
St. Ext.) , Trinity Township, Zoning Map 1-1; be re-zoned from
Residential-Agricultural to Light Industrial.
2. SUBDIVISION VARIANCE REQUEST:
A. Mr. Joe Hoffman, High Point, North Carolina, is requesting that he
be allowed to use a 20' right-of-way private road for access to his
property instead of the 30' wide private road requirements outlined
in the County Subdivision Ordinance. If the Variance is granted no
lots could be sold less than 5 acres in size and each 5 acre or
greater land tract would be limited to one single family residential
development. The property is located in New Market Township, west
of SR# 1532 and south of SRI! 1773.
