REQUESTS FOR A SPECIAL USE PERMIT: 4. Swearing in of the Witnesses - “Do you swear or affirm that the information you are about to give is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God.” ROGER LITTLE A., Seagrove, North Carolina, is requesting a Special Use Permit for a Rural Family Occupation to obtain an automotive dealer’s license at his residence, with a display lot (maximum 5 cars) as per site plan, located at 6782 Meadowbranch Road, on 29.50 acres, Richland Township, Zoning District RA, Tax ID# 7695307517. LASH HAMMOND , Asheboro, North Carolina, is requesting that 3.22 acres located at the end of Dinah Road Extension, Cedar Grove Township, be rezoned from HI-CD to RA. Tax ID# 7658380598. Primary Growth Area. It is the desire of the property owner to use the property for residential purposes. Technical Review Committee Recommendation: The Technical Review Committee met and found that this proposal was in compliance with the standards outlined in the 2009 Growth Management Plan adopted by the Board of County Commissioners. The majority of the Technical Review Committee voted to approved recommend to the County Planning Board that this request be . Examples of Growth Management Policies that the Technical Review Committee found supporting this recommendation are: Policy 6.5 The protection of viable rural neighborhoods should be encouraged by compatible residential development to insure the continued existence as a major housing source and as a reflection of the long-term quality of life in Randolph County. Resolution Adopting the 2009 Randolph County Management Plan, Resolution #3. Ensure the opportunity for landowners to achieve the highest and best uses of their land that are consistent with growth management policies in order to protect the economic viability of the County’s citizens and tax base. 6.
