060683phMINUTES PUBLIC HEARING RANDOLPH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS June 6, 1983 10:00 a.m. On June 6, 1983, at 10:00 a.m., the,Randolph County Board of Commissioners met for a public hearing in Courtroom B, Randolph County Courthouse, 145 Worth Street, Asheboro, North Carolina. The following members were present for the public hearing: Chairman Bill Boyd, Richard Pugh, Darrell Frye, and Floyd Langley. Chairman Bill Boyd announced the opening of a scheduled public hearing concerning a re -zoning request. Hal Johnson of County Planning and Zoning came before the Board to present a re -zoning request by Bill Hedrick of Trinity for a conditional use permit for 8 acres on SR1546. Mr. Hedrick plans to locate a furniture upholstery business on this site. The Planning Board had earlier approved Mr. Hedrick's request,,with the following , stipulations: 1. 50 ft. setback from road frontage 2. 1 parking space for each 2 employees 3. Natural foliage and shrubs should be used to provide a 25 -foot buffer zone to adjoining property Mr. Hedrick spoke, saying that he understood the stipulations and would abide by them. Chairman Boyd asked if any person were present who wished to speak concerning this matter. No one spoke. On motion of Floyd Langley, seconded by Richard Pugh, the Commissioners unanimously closed the public hearing.
