101190RANDOLPH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MINUTES OCTOBER 11, 1990 The Randolph County Board of Commissioners met in special session at 7:30 p.m. on October 11, 1990 in Courtroom A, County Courthouse, Asheboro, NC, to appoint a new commissioner. Commissioners Frye, Langley, Davidson and Petty were present. Charles Browne, Chairman of the Randolph County Republican Party, informed the Board that the Republican Party Executive Committee had met just prior to this meeting, at 7:00 p.m., and adopted a resolution to appoint Martha L. Comer to serve out the term of the late Clinton Comer. On motion of Langley, seconded by Petty, the Board accepted the resolution and appointed Martha L. Comer to serve as commissioner for the remainder of the late Clinton Comer's term. Copy of resolution included by reference. Lynda Skeen, Randolph County Clerk of Court, administered the oath of office to Mrs. Comer. A copy of the oath is included by reference. On motion of Davidson, seconded by Petty, the Board adjourned.
