041603April 16, 2003 The Randolph County Board of Commissioners met in special session at 5:30 p.m. in the Training Room of the Randolph County Office Building, 725 McDowell Road, Asheboro, NC, for the purpose of going into closed session to discuss an economic development project. Commissioners Kemp, Holmes, Davis, and Mason were present. Commissioner Frye was absent. On motion of Holmes, seconded by Mason, the Board voted unanimously to go into closed session to discuss matters relating to the location or expansion of business in the area served by the Board, pursuant to NCGS 143-318.1 ] (a) (4). The Board returned to regular session at 6:00 p.m. On motion of Holmes, seconded by Davis, the Board unanimously voted to set a special meeting for 3:00 p.m. on May 5, 2003, in order to hold a joint public hearing with the Asheboro City Council concerning an economic development project, said meeting to be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Office Building, 725 McDowell Road, Asheboro, NC.
