The Randolph County Board of Commissioners met in special session at 6:30 p.m. in the
Commissioners Meeting Room, County Office Building, 725 McDowell Road, Asheboro, NC, to
consider zoning ordinance amendments. Commissioners Kemp, Frye, Holmes, Davis, and Mason
were present.
Hal Johnson, Planning and Zoning Director, reviewed and explained proposed changes to the
County Zoning Ordinance, up through Section V. The Board agreed to hold another work session on
the proposed changes in October and to set that date at their regular October meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
